The Government of India has officially approved an interest rate of 8.25% on Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) deposits for the 2025–26 financial year. This rate remains unchanged for the third consecutive year and benefits over seven crore contributing members.

- Crediting Timeline: Following approval, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) typically begins crediting the accumulated interest into members’ accounts shortly after the fiscal year closes.
